Print Ready PDF – How To Create A High-Resolution PDF File.

To get the best quality print from your files you need to supply a High-Resolution PDF file. standard PDF files are good for proofing and easy to send as attachments. However, they won’t create the best final finished product when we or any commercial printer needs to print.

Standard PDF files can contagion poor quality images or colours. Read below instructions on using Acrobat DC to create a High-Resolution PDF file from your standard PDF.


1 ) Open up the PDF in Acrobat DC and go to file>save as other>Press-Ready PDF(PDF/X)

In The Save AS PDF box you then have to click on Settings

Save as a High Res PDF

Next in the Preflight dialog you have to select Save as PDF/X-4 and then click on OK


You now have a high-resolution print Ready PDF


Note: You are able to select the available PDF/X-4 conversation profiles that are listed in the Create PDF/X-4 according to the following PDF/X-4 Conversion Profile section. Apply corrections as per your requirement
