Mesh Banners

340gsm mesh is an exciting lighter weight alternative to PVC banner-grade material.

More Than Just Print offer an alternative material to the popular PVC material. 340gsm mesh material is ideal for use on scaffolding or for large building wraps. Mesh is lighter than standard banner material which means it could be more suited where weight is an issue, such as installation or the protection of the surface it is being fixed to. If you are looking for something more durable then take a look at our PVC vinyl banners.

Description

Mesh Banners

mesh banners are lightweight and work well when attached to scaffolding and other areas where you need the wind to pass through. The mesh banners have tiny holes that let air flow through.

They are great for using as large advertising banners.

How To Order Your Mesh Banner

Ordering your mesh banner is quick and simple.

Simply select your banner size and upload your artwork. It’s that easy!

Our pre-press team will check your files and contact you if there are any issues with your file. All of our banners are sent via a tracked courier, so you should let us know on the order form if you have any special delivery instructions.

You can speak to one of our supervisors using the online chat if you are struggling with anything. Alternatively, you can call us on 01344 312704.

Mesh Banner Sizes

We print any banner at any size required. The good thing about mesh banners is that we can produce very large banners by stitching multiple parts together and adding a hem around the edge of the full-banner.

Bespoke Design

You can supply your own artwork and we can print directly from your file, however, we have an in-house Graphic Design Studio so we can design your banners for you. If you need help with the design then please contact us at [email protected]. For a detailed description of how to set up your artwork, please refer to our Artwork Setup Guides.

About our mesh banner finishing options

Welded Hems & Eyelets

Items will be given a welded hem, then eyeletted at equal distributions along the hem.

The standard distribution of eyelets is one per metre. If you require a different distribution or specific placement of eyelets, that is no problem at all – simply let us know what you need when you place your order.

Welded Hems Only

Items will be given a 53mm welded hem.

Pole pocket(s)

A pocket is added to the edges you require to allow a pole to pass through and support/tension the banner.

The diameter of the pocket can be specified by you, however, if you let us know the diameter of the object to go into the pole pocket we can calculate the size of the pocket for you.

Trimmed to size

Items will be cut to the size ordered.

Trimmed with eyelets

Same as Trimmed to Size but with the addition of eyelets.

Custom finishes

Do you have something different in mind? Maybe you need an irregular shape or different distribution of eyelets? If so, please contact us

PDF Files

High resolution (300dpi) files are the best for us to work with. Please see the settings below to get the best quality printing.
  • Resolution: Choose High Resolution
  • Compression Settings – For colour and greyscale this should be downsampled to 300dpi with “auto compression” set on high
  • Font Embedding – Should be set to “embed all fonts”
  • Colour needs to be set as CMYK

Adobe Illustrator Software LogoAdobe Illustrator

Convert all text to outlines and embed all fonts. Save as a PDF file with 3mm bleed and crop marks.

Adobe Photoshop Software LogoAdobe Photoshop

The resolution should be set to 300dpi. Save the file as either JPEG or TIFF. Other files not listed above must be saved either as an EPS or JPEG.

Adobe InDesign Software LogoAdobe InDesign

All fonts and pictures used in your artwork need to be supplied to us in a separate folder using the “package” function under the “file” menu. Zip your files and folders before uploading or sending to us via e-mail. Please also include a PDF. We can then use the PDF to make sure that nothing is missing or moved.

Artwork Bleed

  • Please supply 3mm bleed around your artwork.
  • Please ensure that the colour is set to CMYK, not RGB.
  • Please provide crop marks around all your supplied artwork.

Microsoft Office Files

We cannot print straight from the following programmes. However, we can save a PDF file and re-send back to you for proofing.
  • Word
  • Excel
  • Publisher
  • PowerPoint
You can save your Microsoft Office files as a PDF yourself if you would prefer. That way you can see exactly what the printed file will look like. Please note: It is important when supplying a PDF from a Microsoft Office application, that extra care is taken to ensure any spot colours are created correctly in your original document/file. Please supply a screenshot of your Microsoft Office file before conversion. You can do this by following the instruction below for both Mac and PC. Mac: Press ‘Command’ + ‘Shift’ + 3 for a full screenshot, or ‘Command’ + ‘Shift’ + 4 to select an area to screenshot. This will save a PNG file to your desktop. PC: There is a key on your keyboard that says ‘Print Screen’. You can then paste this into a document or email to send over.
